Hospital Manager NicoleNicole graduated from The State University of New York, College at Oneonta with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Fine Arts with a minor in Anthropology. She began her career in the field of Veterinary Medicine in 2009 and has been part of the Goosepond Animal Hospital Team since 2013. As Practice Manager, Nicole is responsible for the Goosepond doctors and staff, client relations, most financial aspects and the overall well being of the practice.

Office Manager Cathy

Cathy graduated from Queens College in 1977 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. After being a stay at home mom for many years, she began working at Goosepond Animal Hospital in 1996 as a customer service representative. Then in 2005, she became part of our management team, first as an assistant, and now as our Office Manager.

Licensed Veterinary Technician CatherineCatherine is a Licensed Veterinary Technician and our acting Stray Fund Coordinator. She received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Veterinary Technology from Mt. Ida College located in Newton, MA in 1994 where she graduated Magna Cume Laude. During this time, Catherine gained experience in all aspects of veterinary medicine. She has worked with farm animals, laboratory animals, small animals including exotics and birds, wildlife, zoo animals, and aquarium animals at the Boston Aquarium focusing mostly on the penguins.

Licensed Veterinary Technician SarahSarah graduated from Concordia College in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in Educational Services. She decided soon after to go back to school to become a veterinary technician. She came to Goosepond Animal Hospital in 2006 while working towards her Associates of Applied Sciences in Veterinary Technology from SUNY Ulster and earned her New York State Vet Tech license in June of that year. She enjoys all aspects of her job but one of her favorite things is interacting with and getting to know her clients.

Licensed Veterinary Technician, LindaLinda has been working in the veterinary field since she was 18 yrs. old. She worked as a Veterinary Assistant in New Jersey and New York until she took some time off to raise her family. She then returned to school to pursue a career in Veterinary Technology. Linda has an Associate of Science degree from Orange Community College and an Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology from Bergen Community College. She joined the Goosepond Animal Hospital team in 2012.

Licensed Veterinary Technician JenniferJennifer is a Licensed Veterinary Technician who graduated from SUNY Delhi, and was NYS licensed in 1998. She has had 19 years of experience working in veterinary medicine as a licensed technician. Jennifer has worked in a regular practice for 9 years and in an emergency practice for 6 years prior to joining the Goosepond Team in November of 2013. She enjoys the personal aspect of a veterinary practice such as getting to know the clients and patients. She also enjoys surgical nursing, anesthesia and interesting cases.

Licensed Veterinary Technician DesireeDesiree graduated from SUNY Delhi in May of 2009. She started working as a Veterinary Assistant after graduating until obtaining her license in July 2009.

Desiree joined the Goosepond Animal Hospital Team in December 2013, bringing with her a love of veterinary dentistry and client education.

 

Veterinary Assistant EmilyEmily Davies has worked at Goosepond Animal Hospital for over 10 years as a Veterinary Assistant and Client Service Representative. She is passionate about animal care and loves the relationships she has built with their owners through the years.

When not working Emily enjoys spending time with her family and pets.

 

Veterinary Assistant MarieMarie has worked as a Veterinary Assistant at Goosepond Animal Hospital since 2006. She loves caring for all of our patients, especially cats, and enjoys the relationships she has formed with our clients. Marie spent many years riding and caring for horses growing up but has been working in the small animal field since 2003.

When not at work she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two sons. Marie also has two “fur babies,” Morgan and Stoli, who are both longhaired cats.

Veterinary Assistant DanaDana loves animals of every shape and size so her role at Goosepond Animal Hospital is second nature to her. She takes pride in her work and is always happy to help clients and their beloved pets.

Dana’s family consists of her husband, two sons, and two special pups. In her spare time she enjoys antiquing, shopping, checking out local farms, and spending time with her family.

 

Veterinary Assistant HelenHelen is a Veterinary and Surgical Assistant here at Goosepond Animal Hopsital. She enjoys working and caring for the animals, especially cats. Helen prides herself on holding cats that can be difficult to handle. At home, her favorite things to do include cooking, reading, and watching old movies. If she could, she would go swimming every day.

Helen and her husband have three kitties that live with them in their home, Tippy (who has only three legs and no tail!), Perseus, and Nyx.

Veterinary Assistant LizLiz is a Veterinary/Kennel Assistant here at Goosepond Animal Hospital. She believes that the best part of working for a veterinary hospital is the opportunity to learn something new every day. Outside of work, Liz enjoys collecting tattoos as well as taking time to explore the outdoors.

At home Liz has an Australian Keplie mix named, Cypress, and she has two black cats, Shyla and Ryder to play with.

 

Client Service Representative PatPat has been a Goosepond Animal Hospital Family Member for the past 13 years. She enjoys all the relationships she has formed with clients and especially, their pets. It gives her great pleasure to offer treats and love when our patients come in for their appointments. She is also grateful for the wealth of knowledge that she has acquired over the years and is confident in sharing it with our clients.

When Pat is not at work she enjoys traveling, cooking, reading and spending quality time with her daughter, Helen, and her own cat, Capparusso, an orange tabby.

Client Service Representative ZoeZoë is a Client Service Representative here at Goosepond Animal Hospital. When asked what she enjoys about her position, she answered,” it is working with our clients – some of whom have been coming here for many years - together with the new faces. All bring their wonderful pets which is the best part! Each day is different and there is always something else to learn.”

Client Service Representative SarahSarah is originally from the great state of Texas and obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 2004. After a few years in Minnesota, she moved to New York in 2010 and fell in love with the Hudson Valley. Sarah decided to work at Goosepond Animal Hospital due to her love of animals and over the past four years has learned so much as both a Client Service Representative and Veterinary Assistant.

In her spare time, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family (both human and fur), reading, listening to podcasts, watching movies, and when the weather allows, swimming in her pool.

Client Service Representative JessicaJessica is a Client Service Representative/Veterinary Assistant here at Goosepond Animal Hospital. She feels that the best part about working for a veterinary hospital is getting to see the different personalities of each animal and developing relationships with clients.

When not at work Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband, reading, hiking with her dogs, and playing video games. At home she has a calico named, Addie, a Husky named, Kira, and a Springer Spaniel named, Riley.

Client Service Representative MaryMary, a Client Service Representative, is a graduate of Marywood University located in Scranton, PA. She has always wanted to work with animals. Prior to working at Goosepond Animal Hospital, Mary was a client for 30+ years and has great respect and admiration for the doctors and staff due to their sincere care and concern for their patients.

In her spare time, she works with Irish Setter Rescue, assisting with transport & fundraising. Her dog Cody, is a certified therapy dog through Bright & Beautiful. Mary also loves reading, gardening and horses and has volunteered with Winslow Therapeutic Riding Center.

Customer Service Representative LibiaLibia came to Monroe, N.Y. in 2005 from Ecuador. She has remained a resident of Orange County ever since. Libia began her career in customer service seven years ago. Her love for animals, specifically cats brought her to Goosepond Animal Hospital where she joined the Client Service Represenative team in 2016.

Libia says that being around animals daily, positively affects her life. When she’s not working, Libia enjoys spending time with family and dancing.

 

Client Service Representative JenniferJen, a Client Service Representative, joined Goosepond Animal Hospital in July of 2017. What she likes best about her job is getting to interact with different members of the community and their pets. When not working, Jen enjoys spending time on her family farm as well as spending time with her friends & family.

Jen’s fur family includes two dachshunds who are named, Maxwell and Tinkerbell, a pit bull named, Diesel, and a cat named, Kitty.
