Our Philosophy

As members of the veterinary profession, we will strive to provide excellent care for all of our patients and their owners. We believe strongly in preventative medical care through the use of annual examinations.
We stress continuing education for our doctors and staff to enable us to provide the most up to date treatment options for our patents. We have a responsibility to keep our patients as healthy and happy as possible.

We recommend annual health exams for all of our patients, and twice yearly examinations for older animals. By the use of comprehensive exams we are able to monitor your pet's weight, vital signs and general health. Each year in an animal's life is equivalent to several years of your own. As your pet begins to enter the geriatric years we recommend annual blood work and urinalysis along with the examination. This may enable us to diagnose developing health problems before your pet becomes symptomatic.

Vaccination programs have been developed to protect your pet from contagious viral and bacterial diseases, some of which may be fatal. We will recommend a vaccine protocol for your pet based on several factors to be discussed during their examination.

We will sometimes refer difficult or non-responsive medical cases to board certified veterinary specialists to provide the best possible care for our patients.

We recommend pet health insurance. It can be financially helpful if your pet becomes seriously ill or injured.
